Wordcrafters in Eugene in partnership with the Springfield Public Library will be hosting a free November workshop — You: The Most Important Story You’ll Ever Write taught by Micheal Michel. This workshop is most appropriate for teens and up.
About this workshop: Imagine for a moment what it would be like to discover that all of your most familiar and juiciest “stories,” the ones about how it won’t work out for you as a writer, might not be true. Not only that, but you may also discover exactly HOW you get in your own way.This workshop will give you the opportunity to change the way you approach writing so you can BE the writer you’ve always envisioned. Learn a new way of engaging your writing projects so you can produce the results you’d love in a way you love–with clarity, focus, ease, and grace.
We’ll also look at an empowering way of seeing problems and setbacks which will allow you to step more fully into the vision and meaning you want for your life.
After this dynamic and interactive talk, you’ll walk away with greater connection to your work, a way to be “you” as a writer that energizes and uplifts, and a way of looking through your problems, confusion, and suffering so you can see into the heart of what you really desire. If you want to karate chop your writer’s block, this is one great way to do it.
