Fonda Lee is the award-winning author of the gangster fantasy saga Jade City. Her debut young adult science fiction novel Zeroboxer was a Junior Library Guild Selection, ALA Top 10 Quick Pick for Young Adult Readers, Andre Norton finalist, Oregon Book Award finalist, and Oregon Spirit Book Award winner. Her second novel, Exo, was also named a 2017 Junior Library Guild Selection; its sequel, Cross Fire, released in May 2018. Named the 2015 Willamette Writers Up and Coming Award Winner, Fonda has spoken and taught at conventions and conferences around the country. Matthew Lowes is a writer with over twenty-five years of experience practicing and teaching martial arts. His novel, The End of All Things, is the third book in the Labyrinth of Souls fiction series, published by ShadowSpinners Press, and his stories have appeared in a variety of magazines, including Dark Recesses and Anotherealm. Lowes has a black belt in Aikido and is a certified Systema instructor, a Russian martial art used to train military, law enforcement, and counter terrorist units around the world.
